What Road to Glory collects, what it is used for, and the third-party services behind the website and the iOS and Android apps. Last updated September 2026.

Road to Glory ("we", "us") is a free, independent European basketball draft game operated by Arche Digital. This policy covers our website and our iOS and Android apps. It explains what we collect, how we use it, and the third-party services — including advertising — that we rely on. By using the site or the apps you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Device identifier. To let you play anonymously, we generate a random id and store it in your browser or on your device. It is sent with your game submissions so your runs and leaderboard entries can be attributed without an account.
  • Account details (optional). If you sign up with email, "Continue with Google" or "Sign in with Apple", we store your name, email address and, for Google, your public profile name and avatar.
  • Gameplay data. The lineups you draft, your results, and the display name you choose for the leaderboard.
  • Technical data. Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting and analytics providers.
  • Advertising and diagnostics (apps). In the iOS and Android apps our advertising provider, Google AdMob, may collect a device advertising identifier, coarse (approximate) location, app-usage and interaction data, and crash and performance diagnostics in order to serve and measure ads. By default we request non-personalised ads.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for essentials (your device id, theme and preferences) and privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (Vercel Web Analytics). Our advertising partner, Google, and its vendors use cookies to serve and measure ads, as described below. On the website a consent banner asks before any advertising or analytics cookie is set; you can change your answer at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Advertising

The website displays ads served by Google AdSense, and the iOS and Android apps display ads served by Google AdMob. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (web) and device advertising identifiers (apps) to serve and measure ads. On the web, Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites; in the apps, AdMob may use a device advertising identifier for the same purpose. By default the apps request non-personalised ads.

Some in-game helps (an extra re-spin, for example) are offered in exchange for watching a short rewarded ad. Watching one is always optional; skipping it costs you nothing but the help.

Third-party services

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.

  • Google — AdSense (web advertising), AdMob (in-app advertising), and Sign-In (optional authentication).
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple (optional authentication in the apps).
  • Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly Web Analytics.

How we use information

To run the game and the leaderboards, manage optional accounts, display ads, keep the site secure, and improve it. We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the processors listed above, and only as needed to provide the service.

Your choices

  • Clear your browser's site data to remove your device id and preferences.
  • In the apps, reset or limit ad tracking via your device's privacy settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
  • Opt out of personalised ads via the links above.
  • Delete your account from inside the app: Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. The runs you drafted stay on record but lose your name and stop being ranked, so nothing that identifies you remains.
  • Request any other data removal by email; we answer from the address below.

Children

The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the date above when we do. Questions about privacy go to the same address.

Road to Glory is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any basketball league, club, or player. All names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
